To the left you see part of the great Parc of Vallombrosa, - all enclosed and private. Villa du Parc layes s situated in the Parc like a fairy tale castle. Bright and shining after the latest renovations. Villa du Parc has full privacy as it is not possible to look into the property from outside Parc. Behind Villa du Parc you will see Villa Rothschild which belonged to the Rothschild family and today is a modern Library. In the distance you can see the Esterel mountains which start at Mandelieu and continues into the Var.
This overview shows Villa du Parc in the center with Villa Vallombrosa to the right and Villa Rothschild to the left. In the front you can see Villa Victoria. When preparing to build Villa Victoria in the 1880 they discovered hundreds of skeletons in the sand. Napoleon had his army based here before the Battle of Marengo in Italy on 14 June 1800. His troops were struck by a fever when in Cannes and many died. They were buried in the sand on the beach as the battle approached. During the battle at Marengo 12 500 men were killed.
The outside of the Chateau has been renovated and the new two tone paint enhances the beautiful features of the building. The inside of the Chateau has marble or parquet on the floors. All bathrooms are up to modern standard. Reverse aircondition have been installed in all bedrooms.

On the outside there is a nice terrace overlooking the pool and the BBQ area. The paintings on the wall are old Noble men and Chamberlains from Norway and Sweden.
The living room with a grand Italian leather sitting group. Nice for a get together. The renovated marble floors enhances this part of the Chateau. The doors at the other side of the room leads to the apartment below and the Library straight ahead.
Dining outside is a pleasure. The stone top table provides a perfect setting under the grapes and the vines.
A glass of champagne is perfect for any occasion.
The indoor dining room is the perfect setting for a nice meal in a more formal setting. Direct access to the large kitchen. When needed the table can be moved and the room organized as a cinema using the wall to display the output of a video projector.
